Our team
works with clients to:
- Evaluate network security and
configuration for potential threats to the business.
- Recommend changes to the management team.
- Implement the necessary changes.
The evaluation focuses on systems
configuration, virus protection, physical layout and IT policies and
procedures.
For the Network Configuration evaluation, we use a scanning tool. This tool
scans all servers, workstations, routers, and firewalls to look for and
report on known vulnerabilities.
The evaluation report lists known security vulnerabilities for the client
and associates a risk factor to each vulnerability. This allows management
to make security and network decisions based on the risk to the business.
The final phase is to
eliminate any high-risk vulnerabilities by changing configurations, polices,
procedures, and physical setup.
The client now has a baseline
to measure security risk. Future analysis can be compared against this
original to give a view of security over time.
Another valuable results of this effort is that the client understands the
security risks it faces and is able to make business technology decisions
based on that knowledge.
Typical Areas of Risk

- E-mail Systems
- Network Servers
- User Workstations
- Web Servers
